Description

Please read carefully. I paid $4k for him 3 years ago.
I have an 8 year old Registered QH gelding. He has been through Mounted Patrol Training, works off leg, side passes, has a jog to die for, nice slow lope, excellent manners (mom spoiles him a bit) but he knows his place. He is a big baby.
He is about 14.3 - 15H and in excellent condition. He has just had teeth floated, all shots, feet done (no shoes) he is trained out the gazoo...but here is the bad news::

In February something happened, he started limping. I have had his leg ultrasounded and it appeared to be a tendon. We have been doctoring on this tendon for all this time and he seems to get better some but never all the way. I have had (3) ultrasounds done on his leg and the last one said almost healed. Vet said I could put him on regular turnout after about 3 more weeks.
Well being (8) he went out and acted like a fool bucking and slide stopping etc and came back limping again. We stall rested and he seemed to be getting better but not all the way. I took him to Peggy Flemming (2) times now and she says he is improving but now I have lost my job.
This horse is the love of my life but hubby says we can't afford any more for him and it is seriously getting to the point that I can't afford to have (2). Hubby says 1 a piece is ok but not 2 for me.

I need to place him in a home: Someone may be getting the best horse ever if he heals or if they have the $ to fix him completely - he will do anything when he trusts you. Who ever may take him must understand that he may not get better though. right now he can be ridden for about 15 minutes on flat ground 3 to 4 times a week. No excitement.
If you or someone you know can give my baby a good home and will swear to give him back if ever can't keep him please email me and we can talk.
